Caplor Energy Attends Ofgem Roo Fit Workshop

Caplor Energy Attends Ofgem Roo Fit Workshop
With the popularity of commercial sized solar PV continuously growing and the government reiterating their support for rooftop solar installations, Caplor Energy has been ensuring that we stay at the forefront of this expanding market. Solar PV installations that have a Declared Net Capacity greater than 50kW and up to and including 5MW require ROO-FIT accreditation to take advantage of the Feed-in Tariff (FiT). This complex and often time consuming process takes a number of months to complete and creates a large barrier to people wanting to access their FiT payments as soon as possible. To ensure that Caplor Energy is kept up-to-date on the latest ROO-FiT requirements and so that we are best placed to assist our customers through this difficult process we recently attended an Ofgem workshop. This is great news for those of you who are able to install commercial PV of this capacity such as on factory roofs, farm buildings and ground-mount systems. If you do choose to install a system greater than 50kW Caplor Energy will be here to guide you through the accreditation process. Caplor Energy are independently rated as a Top 10 UK installer for PV and other renewable energy systems and are Herefordshire's only NFU Farm Energy Service approved supplier. Call us today on 01432 860 644 to take advantage of a solar PV installation or fill out our online form to arrange a personable, no-nonsense energy survey.
