Ireda Receives Cbip Award For Excellence In Re

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) was recently awarded for its excellent performance in renewable energy by the Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP)

IREDA was conferred upon the CBIP award for Excellence in the Renewable Energy Sector on January 1, 2015 by Minister of State for Water Resources, Prof. Sonwar Jat for its outstanding contribution to the nation in the development of renewable energy. The award was received by chairman managing director of IREDA, KS Popli.

IREDA, a public limited company under the administrative control of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), is engaged in extending financial support to renewable energy projects in the country since 1987.
